With many of us taking our well-deserved summer holidays, we are often asked what’s the best way to fully re-charge on holiday. Is it to lay by a pool and do nothing, is it to have an energetic holiday and get rid of all that built up tension or is it a spa and treatment holiday?

There is no one solution for the type of holiday, however there are some things you can do when you’re away to help you completely re-energise and fully recharge the batteries.

 

6 steps to fully re-charge on holiday

 

1. RID ANY ENERGY BLOCKAGES

Being away doesn’t mean that you have to miss out on your Chunsoo Treatment. Skype or telephone treatments are extremely effective and will help you get rid of any energy blockages so you can tap into your own 'human energy' - Qi, and feel completely rejuvenated. 

 

2. ENJOY WHAT YOUR DOING NOW

Enjoy the present moment and try to not let your thoughts wonder to things you need to do or how you might have done something differently. Simply enjoy what you are doing right now – reading a book, playing with the family, preparing a simple lunch. 

 

3. PRACTICE LETTING GO

Negative feelings are a drain on our ‘human energy’.  Let go of judgments. Let go of anger. Let go of any bitterness and any resentment. Rather than ignoring them, make a mental note, acknowledge them and then let them pass.  A useful way of doing this is to take deep breaths whilst imagining water flowing around a stone in a stream.

 

4. ASSESS WHERE THE NEGATIVITY IS

Assess anything that is draining your ‘human energy’. Negative people, negative experiences, negative influences need to go, or at least become less important in your life. Use your holiday to focus on what makes you happy and decide to add more of this into your life!

 

5. USE THE TIME TO REFOCUS

Whilst enjoying time away, have a think about what are your real strengths and capabilities. Draw up an outline plan so you can start saying no things that aren’t part of the plan. It will not only stop you over burdening yourself with extra unwanted tasks, but allow you to enjoy your holiday without unnecessary worry. In the long term planning will empower you by taking back control of your life without compromise.

 

6. RECONNECT WITH LOVED ONES

Keep your phone, iPad and laptop out of sight, then take time to spend time with your friends and family. You may feel slightly uncomfortable as you don’t have any ‘distractions’ however go back to point 2 and enjoy what you are doing now. You will find you naturally start to reconnect and become less disconnected.
