In today’s fast-paced world, many of us feel permanantly tired. Is there a quick way to get that well needed boost to stop us feeling so fatigued? We asked our Senior Practitioner, Emilie Weston at Jung Shim for some advice.

“Feeling constantly tired is a way of defining fatigue. It's a sign that our batteries are flat and we need to re-charge. We have to maintain our health constantly to see permenant improvement to our energy levels however there are things you can do to temporarily boost your energy.”

  1. Start your day with a 10 minute meditation to clear and focus your mind. Make yourself peaceful and ready to deal with the day whatever it brings by making your mind positive and accepting.

  2. Eat regularly and don't snack on sugar to keep your energy levels steady.

  3. Smile! Smiling opens the energy pores on our face and puts a spring in our step, helping us, and others, to feel happy and confident.

  4. In the cold weather, keep your lower abdomen and the top of your head warm. These are two major energy centres. The lower abdomen is the location of the danjan or human battery and supports the circulation of energy throughout the body.

  5. Receive regular Chunsoo treatments to unblock the energy channels and boost the circulation of energy to create a balance in mind, body, and spirit.

Jung Shim Treatments for Fatigue

Jung Shim treatments are based on eastern principles which understand that good health is a achieved with a steady flow and healthy store of Qi (or chi) energy in our system, which maintains the balance of mind, body and spirit.

Chunsoo treatments open the energy system by releasing blockages by pressing acupressure points all over the body to stimulate energy and blood flow. At the same time a breathing technique, which has a specific sound and vibration, is used to open the energy channels and transmit Qi into the body.

Treatments help relieve tiredness and fatigue whilst detoxify the body and have a calming effect on the mind. They also help promote the body’s own natural healing ability by reinforcing the flow of Qi.
