INGREDIENTS

200g butter

200g chocolate

4 eggs

170g sugar
-
125g almonds/hazlenuts
METHOD

Melt broken chocolate and butter together in a large bowl over a pan with simmering water.

Add beaten eggs, sugar and GROUND almonds or hazlenuts and whisk well. Pour into a small buttered and floured cake tin and cook for 30 minutes at 180°C.

Leave 15 minutes and then turn out. Dust with sieved icing sugar and serve with the fruit
Thermomix version
-
Grind nuts on speed 10 and set aside.

Weigh in chocolate and grind.

Add butter and melt 2 minutes/ 80*C/ speed 1.

Add other ingredients and mix speed 8.

Cook in a small buttered and floured cake tin at 180°C for 30 minutes.

Can serve with diced mango, raspberries or other fruit
