Whilst it’s not always easy to achieve, it is better not to rush in the morning as it can have a lasting effect on your mood and energy for the rest of the day.

At Jung Shim, practitioners give energy treatments, classes and consultations needed a healthy morning routine. For our #MondayMotivation post, we would like to share five morning tips with you. 


1. Activate your digestive system

Once you wake up, before taking a shower, drink a glass of warm water. This should be the first thing you do as it will activate your digestive system. When taking a shower or an early morning bath, try to choose non-toxic products to avoid polluting your skin.

2. Make your mind bright and positive

Before breakfast, sit down to meditate for 10 minutes. Letting some time pass before eating allows energy to circulate in your body. You can also follow our first energy class online at 7am to energise for the day ahead.

3. Enjoy breakfast

Really enjoy your breakfast by practicing mindfulness whilst eating and enjoying every mouth full.

4. Clear up and out

Before you leave, take some time to tidy up and clear out the rubbish and your space. Coming back to a clean and organised home after your day keeps your mind positive. It also creates space for energy to flow in your home.

5. Smile before you leave

Once you are done, smile to yourself in the mirror before you venture outside. It might sound silly but it actually helps to create positive energy and releases happy hormones. What better way to start the day than with happiness!
